Harvest Missions: Who Are We, and What Do We Do?

Thank you for visiting our website! Harvest Missions is all about, yes, missions! Harvest missions is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization. We're reaching into the nations of India, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic. Connie and I have been involved in missions for many years. It started in 1991 when I made my first missions trip to Mexico. In 1995 Connie and I were privileged to visit Canada to preach the gospel. My first trip to India was in 1997. That trip really changed my life, and secured the burden for missions for my life! I have been blessed to return to India 7 more times. In 2000 I was able to make my first of three trips to Guatemala in Central America.

In 2007 I visited Honduras for the first time. I recently made my twelfth trip to Honduras (a month and a half ago at this writing). In 2019 I joined a team to the Dominican Republic for my first visit there, and visited the D.R. for the second time in 2021.

In India we work with Pastor Sam Gaddam. Pastor Sam received the mantle for the ministry in India following his father's promotion to glory in 2016. His father, the late Pastor/Apostle G.R Purushotham raised up over 250 churches and pastors in India during his 50+ year ministry. In addition, he established the Bethel Bible School through which men and women are raised up, trained, and placed in ministry all around India. We help to furnish the materials to complete the roofs on new church buildings as they are constructed in India.

In Honduras we work with Pastor Manfredy Zelaya of Tegucigalpa. Pastor Manfredy and I have been working together to preach the gospel in Honduras and to encourage the body of Christ there as well. We also offer child sponsorships of very needy children in some of the small villages and in Tegucigalpa. Pastor Manfredy and I met in the States in 2006 and have been working together since.

In the Dominican Republic we work with Megan Mowdy, an American missionary. We are able to provide some medical missions resources in the D.R. My association with Megan and the ministry in the D.R. is through Pastor Jimmy Williams and Pursuit Church of Meridian, MS.

We invite you to prayerfully consider becoming a general donor partner to Harvest Missions. We are convinced that this missions ministry is good soil. God spoke to my heart in 2011 and said that He will cause Harvest Missions to flourish for His glory. This is happening! We are so grateful to Jesus, and give Him all the glory. For more information about sponsoring a child, or becoming a general donor partner click the corresponding link on this page.

Finally, I ask you to pray consistently for Harvest Missions. We believe prayer is the key to our success: past, present, and future. Thank you!

In Christ,

Steve and Connie Hutto, Founders
